Birds Hill Park Engagement Session

Warm weather, FINALLY!

Ruth, Jordan and I headed out to Bird’s Hill Park to enjoy the warm sunshine and a gorgeous sunset for their engagement session.

We had the perfect weather and no one brought home any ticks so I’m calling it a win-win.

These two trusted me to capture how in love they were, despite my weird kissing games, and the three of us climbing through a recently flooded road to get to the perfect hill (trust me, there was only one hill that would suffice). Thanks to Jordan the puns never stopped coming, and we all had an amazing night exploring the nooks and crannies of the park.

Next time I won’t lead my couple into the woods and then promptly get lost trying to find my way out. But I think it was well worth it.

Soft spoken, kind, attentive. These words instantly come to mind when I think of Andrea and Jamaal.

Selfless hard work and dedication to their careers in child social services doesn’t leave them with many free moments to spare.

These two have no idea how amazing they are. I was grateful to be able to create some special moments in the woods with them.

Spring Engagement Session in Birds Hill Park | Monica & Tyler

Spring Engagement Photo Session in Birds Hill Park

I received an inquiry from a couple in the midst of organizing a wedding, completing a degree and opening a Chiropractic Practice, while currently living 2 countries apart.

Over Easter, Monica travelled from Davenport, Iowa and Tyler from Swan River to spend the long weekend together, along with their beloved pooches Diesel and Blue. It was a family reunion of sorts as they hadn’t seen each other in 4 months.

With vibrant skies, and golden light as a canvas, I had the opportunity to frame the authentic connection these two share for one another. Between the shy giggles and tender glances, these images look exactly how they felt, at that exact moment.

I loved hearing about your journey together, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both!

Engagement Photos in Birds Hill Park | Courtney & Scott

An Engagement Photo Session in Birds Hill Park

With spring now clearly upon us it was such a marvellous pleasure to be able to photograph an engagement photo session in Birds Hill Park.

The incandescent colours of this time of year sparkled around us, it danced in the leaves, and motioned the grasses. this time of year mother nature surely offers a plethora of colours, that only heightened the love embraced by these two-perfect people.

As a photographer I am always so excited in the spring, as it is a lead in to the upcoming wedding season. Love is the driving force in my career, and as a wedding photographer it continuously surprises me each and every time.

Embracing and holding love inside a camera, every picture telling a story, every smile a celebration. It is always such a pleasure, an honour and a privilege to share the dreams and hopes of everyone each and every time.

Thank you Courtney and Scott for Sharing your love with me , pure love is always apparent when we simply just look.

The evening sun that sets this day, Was meant for you and I,
To treasure this our special day, Begins in the bright glistening sky, Wrapped in love

We two embrace
A calling of our hearts
Its our time now, our beginning The future is our promise
I love you now and always.

Vanessa and Randy's Engagement Video

Winnipeg Wedding Videographers | Pre Wedding Film

Video & Text by Graham

A Pre Wedding Film for Vanessa and Randy, captured earlier this year.

As part of our Winnipeg wedding video service, we offer a Pre Wedding Film or Engagement Session Video.  As as with wedding photography, working together before the wedding just creates another level of human connection, that can sometimes take hours to catch up on the day of the wedding.

It also gives us an excuse to go on an adventure and capture this time and place we live in now.

This will make you miss your canoe and want to go canoodle under the stars. Be warned.
