As I drove out to Rozlyn & David’s country wedding close to Morden, the sky was already talking.
The rain was hitting the ground every several kilometers and there were tornado warnings in southern Manitoba being called on the radio, but like a true fairytale – love always wins.
The ceremony overlooked the breathtaking valley of the Pembina Valley Hills. Their family and friends, as well as the dark, blue sky forming funnel clouds, witnessed Rozlyn & David pronounce their vows, walk down the aisle as happy as can be.
Husband and wife for the first time.
Minutes later, we crammed in a shed for shelter, but Rozlyn and David’s contagious smiles and love for one another outweighed the biggest storm of the season thus far. Shortly after, the sun’s rays came beaming down, and the reception took place in a machine shop that they had completely flipped into a gorgeous area with decor they put together themselves.
Rozlyn and David – thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful story! It was a great honour to be part of such a fun outdoor wedding!
