Fort Gibraltar wedding in Winnipeg
This day couldn’t have started off on a more entertaining note. I got to meet a real life ghost hunter, armed only with a banana. Lisa and Geordie’s flower girl was hilarious, brave, and though she was photogenic, also hated getting her photo taken. So much so that the dreaded banana weapon was pointed at me on several occasions too.
This Scottish/Filipino fusion wedding was a joy to be part of from start to finish. Lisa and the ladies were super relaxed and having a blast getting ready, and Geordie who wasn’t quite as relaxed was pacing Fort Gibraltar while he waited to get married. It was amazing to see his shoulders drop, his his eyes start to water, and the relaxed and happy Geordie that I knew return to life when he got to see his bride walking down the aisle.
What an incredible moment. After their ceremony, I got to witness one of the most epic dance parties to ever happen at a wedding I was shooting. Lisa’s grandma, and a dad of one of the bridesmaids led the scene and out danced every single one of the youngsters out there.
So excited to share these images with you.
