When I met Kendra and Mark in a Bird’s Hill Parking lot for their engagement shoot, Kendra commented on how bizarre it felt to be doing an engagement shoot. After being together for over 14 years, with two kids and now having been engaged for 5 years, it just didn’t fit the typical engagement session that usually comes semi-shortly after meeting, and definitely before having such an established family.
However, I’m of the mindset that it doesn’t matter where you are in your life or family development, professional photos are always important to have done to document your story. I must say, it was super fun to take pictures of a couple who were so comfortable with each other.
In the first photo I set them up for, I had them looking at each other, and Kendra was quick to point out that it was the longest they had made eye contact in years. From there, Mark poked at her for forgetting her engagement ring for their engagement session, and naturally moved on to making fun of each others’ noses. Needless to say I had a great time with them.
Very excited for their wedding coming up at Hawthorn Estates in less than 2 weeks time.
